Grief changes everything

It doesn't matter if you are navigating the death of a loved one, a painful divorce, a sudden job loss, or a major life transition. The result is often the same: a profound, overwhelming isolation.

In our culture, people usually say "I’m sorry for your loss," but they don’t know what to do next. As a result, the person grieving is left to carry their pain, and figure out how to move forward with little support.

Sorry For Your Loss was created to change that. Built from lived experience, we believe that empathy requires action. No one should have to carry their pain in silence, and no one should feel helpless on the sidelines simply because there is no roadmap for loss.

Through our compassionate tools, meaningful grief cards, and immersive workshops, we provide the missing connection.

We give grievers a voice, and their community a practical way to step in, so we can all start healing together.

What We Offer

  • Interactive workshops with practical tools to navigate loss for those who are grieving and the people supportng them.

  • Cards with built-in support that provide recipients with different ways to ask for support when they’re ready. Making it easier to ask for help and easier for others to show up.

  • There is a profound need for a third space where people navigating loss can just breathe and be themselves. We organize casual community gatherings to step out of isolation and spend time with people who get it.

  • Not sure how to support when someone is grieving? We have you covered with free practical guide and eight actionable ways to show up.

Built from lived experience and with Black and Brown communities top of mind, who are too often overlooked in mainstream grief support, we offer products, workshops, and community experiences that make grief less isolating and support more actionable for your organizations and individuals.
